Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Aeomatic application and related services (the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the Shopify merchant you represent.

Eligibility and merchant authority

You must have authority to install apps, authorize Shopify permissions, approve charges, and modify the relevant store. You are responsible for your store, staff accounts, submitted prompts, content, products, legal compliance, and decisions made using the Service.

The Service

Aeomatic observes selected AI and search surfaces, preserves evidence, connects findings to Shopify products, prepares proposed product-information changes, and measures selected outcomes. Provider output varies by prompt, model, region, time, and sampling. Scores and confidence levels are estimates based on the observed samples, not complete measurements of every possible answer.

Aeomatic does not guarantee rankings, citations, recommendations, traffic, orders, revenue, or a particular provider response. Provider availability and behavior may change without notice.

Merchant approval and publication

The Service may generate drafts and recommendations automatically. Aeomatic requires merchant approval before supported Shopify publication actions. You are responsible for reviewing the proposed field-level changes for truthfulness, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, product safety, and suitability before approval. You should verify material changes on the live storefront even when the Service reports a successful Shopify read-back.

Subscriptions and payment

Aeomatic is offered through paid subscription tiers displayed in the Service and in Shopify. Charges, billing approval, renewals, and applicable taxes are administered through Shopify. Plan limits may include stores, prompts, run frequency, history, providers, and publication features. Upgrades or downgrades take effect according to the terms shown in Shopify's approval flow.

You may cancel through Shopify or the Service. Cancellation and uninstall behavior, including access through the end of a billing cycle, is controlled by the subscription state Shopify reports to us. Except where law or Shopify policy requires otherwise, fees already charged are not refundable merely because provider output or business results differ from expectations.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

• violate law, Shopify policy, third-party rights, or provider terms;
• submit deceptive, unsafe, infringing, unlawful, or malicious content;
• probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• resell or reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law permits it;
• misrepresent estimated visibility or attribution as guaranteed or independently audited fact.

Your content and our software

You retain rights in content and store data you provide. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, transform, and display that content to operate and improve the Service for you. Aeomatic and its licensors retain rights in the Service, software, interfaces, documentation, and aggregate know-how. Feedback may be used without restriction or obligation.

Third-party services

The Service depends on Shopify, hosting infrastructure, AI/search providers, and data acquisition providers. Their services and terms are separate from ours. We are not responsible for changes, outages, removals, or decisions made by a third-party service, though we work to report degraded or missing evidence honestly.

Suspension and termination

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and uninstall it at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and limitations—will survive.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties that cannot be supported by the Service's probabilistic provider observations. To the extent permitted by law, Aeomatic will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

We may update the Service or these Terms. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms.
